Outcome of the consideration on JCM proposed methodologies (Cambodia)

The Joint Committee (JC) for the JCM between Cambodia and Japan has assessed the following proposed methodologies in line with subsection 1.4.4. of the Joint Crediting Mechanism Project Cycle Procedure after the public inputs.

KH_PM007 "Energy Saving by Introduction of High Efficiency Firewood Cookstove to Replace Traditional Cookstove"
KH_PM008 "Energy Saving by Introduction of Low Greenhouse gas-emitting safe drinking water production systems"

The outcome of the consideration is non-approval as the JC could not determine whether the emission reductions (ERs) are calculated conservatively enough from the explanations provided by the methodology proponent.
