Japan and the Kingdom of Thailand signed the bilateral document to start the JCM

On November 19th, 2015, Ms. Tamayo Marukawa, Minister of the Environment of Japan and H.E. General Surasak Karnjanarat, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Kingdom of Thailand, signed the bilateral document of the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) in Tokyo, Japan. As a result, the JCM will be officially launched in the Kingdom of Thailand, becoming the sixteenth country after Mongolia, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Kenya, Maldives, Viet Nam, Lao PDR, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Palau, Cambodia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Chile and Myanmar.
