On 16 January, 2026, SONE Kenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Chile and Albert van Klaveren Stork, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chile, signed the Memorandum of Cooperation on the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) in Santiago.
