On May 26th, 2015, Mr. Naoto Nikai, Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Chile and H.E. Mr. Heraldo Muñoz, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chile, signed the bilateral document of the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) in Chile. As a result, the JCM will be officially launched in Chile, becoming the fourteenth country after Mongolia, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Kenya, Maldives, Viet Nam, Lao PDR, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Palau, Cambodia, Mexico and Saudi Arabia.
