Japan and Uzbekistan signed the Memorandum of Cooperation for establishing the JCM

On October 25th, 2022, Mr. Yoshinori FUJIYAMA, Ambassador of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Uzbekistan and H.E. Jamshid Khodjayev, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed the Memorandum of Cooperation on the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) in Uzbekistan. As a result, the JCM will be officially launched in Uzbekistan becoming the twenty-fourth partner country after Mongolia, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Kenya, Maldives, Viet Nam, Lao PDR, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Palau, Cambodia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Chile, Myanmar, Thailand, the Philippines, Senegal, Tunisia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Georgia, and Sri Lanka.
