January 13th, 2014, Mr. Nobuteru Ishihara, Minister of the Environment of Japan and H.E. Mr. Charles Obichang, Minister of Public Infrastructure, Industry and Commerce of the Republic of Palau, signed the bilateral document of the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) in Ngerulmud, the Republic of Palau. As a result, the JCM will be officially launched in the Republic of Palau, the tenth country after Mongolia, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Kenya, Maldives, Viet Nam, Lao PDR, Indonesia and Costa Rica.
