Japan and Georgia signed the Memorandum of Cooperation for establishing the JCM

On September 13th, 2022, Mr. Akira IMAMURA, Ambassador of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Georgia and H.E. Otar Shamgia, Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia signed the Memorandum of Cooperation on the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) in Georgia. As a result, the JCM will be officially launched in Georgia becoming the twenty-second partner country after Mongolia, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Kenya, Maldives, Viet Nam, Lao PDR, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Palau, Cambodia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Chile, Myanmar, Thailand, the Philippines, Senegal, Tunisia, Azerbaijan, and Moldova.
